Μaintenance and troubleshooting
Regular inspection and cleaning reduces the necessity for maintenance operations and will keep your tool in good working condition. The appliance must be
correctly ventilated during tool operation. Avoid blocking the air inlets and vacuum the ventilation slots regularly. WARNING: Always be sure that the tool is
switched off and remove the rechargeable battery from the device before attempting to perform inspection or maintenance.
• Clean the tool by wiping of dust with a dry or soap-dipped rag.
• Replace all damaged or worn parts to ensure that the hedge trimmer is always ready for safe operation.
• Clean ventilation slots and openings with a brush.
• DO NOT use any solvents or cleaning agents containing chemicals which could damage the plastic parts of the tool. Wipe the housing clean with a cloth.
• Always store the hedge trimmer in a dry, frost-free location beyond the reach of children.
• Store and charge your rechargeable batteries at a cool location. Temperatures above or below normal room temperature shorten the lifespan of recharge -
able batteries.
• Do not store rechargeable batteries when discharged. Wait until the rechargeable battery has cooled down and charge it completely.
• Rechargeable batteries gradually lose their charge. The higher the temperature, the quicker they lose their charge. For longer storage periods, recharge the
rechargeable battery every one or two months. This will extend the lifespan of the rechargeable battery.
CAUTION: Never use gasoline, benzine, thinner alcohol or the like. Discoloration, deformation or cracks may result.
Blade maintenance : Smear the blade before and once per hour during operation using machine oil or the like. After operation, remove dust from both sides of
the blade. Wipe it off with a rag and then apply enough low viscosity oil, such as machine oil etc. and spray-type lubricating Oil.
CAUTION: Do not wash the blades. Failure to do so may cause rust or damage on the tool.
CAUTION: Before removing or installing the blade, always be sure that the tool is switched off and the battery cartridge is removed. When replacing the
blade, always wear gloves, without removing the blade cover so that hands and face do not directly contact the blade. Failure to do so may cause personal
injury.
NOTE: Do not wipe off grease from the gear and crank. Failure to do so may cause damage to the tool
