Using Smart Capture Premium

Sending still images via e-mail

To send still images via e-mail, proceed as follows:

Click the Start button, point to All Programs, then Smart Capture Premium.and then again Smart
Capture Premium.

From the captured images you can see at the right of the screen, double-click the still image you want
to send via e- mail.
The image appears in the viewer in the middle of the screen.

Click Mail on the left of the screen.
Click SEND on the bottom of the screen.
You need to set up MAPI (Messaging Application Program Interface) when using the e-mail software. MAPI is a Microsoft
interface that enables you to send e-mails from within a Windows application and to attach the document you are working on to the e-mail note.

Shooting video clips

You can use the MOTION EYE to shoot (capture) video clips, as well as play them or send them via e-mail (if
you selected NET MOVIE in the Smart Capture Premium window).
To capture video clips, proceed as follows:

Press the Capture button located on the right of the Jog Dial.
The Smart Capture Premium window appears.

Click on the small icon with a movie camera on the left of the windo, either the icon with an envelope
(Net) or without it (Long).
Make sure the Motion Eye button is selected.

Adjust using the focus ring located above the lens of your notebook's camera.

Turn the MOTION EYE lens towards the subject.
