Connecting Peripheral Devices

You can add functionality to your computer by connecting any of these
peripherals:

CD-ROM drive * (page 36)
Port replicator (supplied) (page 40)
Printer (page 42)
External display (page 43)
External mouse or keyboard (page 45)
Desktop computer or serial device (page 46)
External speakers (page 47)
Digital video camera recorder (page 49)
Universal Serial Bus (USB) device (page 50)
Before you connect peripherals, turn off the computer and all peripherals.
Connect the AC adapter only after connecting all cables.
Turn on the computer only after turning on all peripherals.
