8. Maintenance and Service

8.1. Service

DANGER
• Do not do any welding work on the crane
yourself! Welding work on the crane may
only be carried out by, or in close
consultation with, a Hiab service
workshop.
• Do not drill into the crane yourself. Drilling
work on the crane may only be carried out
by, or in close consultation with, a Hiab
service workshop.
• Never try to reinstall the crane. Only a
Hiab Dealer may reinstall the crane.
Before carrying out any welding on the vehicle:
• Disconnect the power between the vehicle and the crane.
• Contact the vehicle manufacturer.
After welding on the vehicle:
• Connect the power between the vehicle and the crane.
