Solution
• First close the battery cover or CF
card slot cover and then turn the
power off.
• First close the battery cover or CF
card slot cover and then turn the
power off.
• Replace the battery pack with a
new one.
• Replace the battery pack with a
new one.
• Insert battery pack securely into
battery charger.
• Ensure that battery charger plug
is securely plugged into the
power outlet.
• Be careful not to move the
camera while pressing the shutter
button.
• Be careful not to block the AF-
assist Beam with fingers or other
items.
• Set the AF-assist Beam to [On]
(p. 47).
• Ensure there is at least 46 cm
(1.5 ft.) between the camera lens
and subject.
• Use the Macro mode to shoot
close-ups between 30 and 46 cm
(1.0 to 1.5 ft.) from the lens (5 cm
(2 in.) when set to wide angle).
• Use the Infinity mode to shoot
distant subjects.
