NOTE: The BP-SUB-12 Is a passive subwoofer
which must be paired with the TruAudio
TRU-S500DSP subwoofer amplifier.
The BP-SUB-12 is a custom product which can be
mounted many ways as per your application. Here
are two ways we recommend, but all applications
are different and need to be taken into account.
Install Method 1 - Straps
Attach the two mounting straps between two
rafters and place the subwoofer on the straps.
Ensure that the subwoofer is not touching the
ceiling sheet rock. Next fit the tube with the baffle
attached through the hole in the sheetrock from
below and attach the tube to the subwoofer port.
Be sure to tighten the custom tube clamp over the
tube on both ends. Now attach the baffle to the
ceiling.
NOTE: dry fit the baffle and tube from the
subwoofer box to the ceiling where you will cut the
hole to make sure it fits.

Install Method 2 - Wall Mount
Attach the short wall bracket to the subwoofer box
using 1" wood screws (Put a drop of silicone
around the screw to prevent a possible air leak. If
you put any holes in the subwoofer box in the
wrong location by accident you must fill the
hole(s) with silicone).
Attach the longer bracket to a stud using 2" wood
screws. Attach the subwoofer to the stud mount
and make sure it is secure. Next fit the tube with
the baffle attached through the sheetrock from
below and attach the tube to the subwoofer port.
Be sure to tighten the custom tube clamp over the
tube on both ends. Now attach the baffle to the
ceiling.
NOTE: dry fit the baffle and tube from the sub-
woofer box to the ceiling where you will cut the
hole to make sure it fits.
