The Honeywell T10 heat pump may not be turning on after correct setup and wiring due to one or more of the following issues:
1. L wire energized: This indicates a problem with the heat pump system. A contractor should be contacted to diagnose and service the unit.
2. Thermostat memory or sensor failure: Errors such as "MEMORY ERROR," "INTERNAL SENSOR," or "ERROR INTERNAL HUM TEMP" suggest a hardware failure in the thermostat. The thermostat needs to be replaced.
3. Power loss or Wi-Fi issues: If the thermostat shows "ERROR THERMOSTAT" or "UNKNOWN TIME," it may have lost power or has poor Wi-Fi communication. Resetting the time or verifying Wi-Fi connection may resolve it.
4. Indoor sensor issues: Errors like "INDOOR SENSOR ERROR" or sensor disconnection messages may also prevent proper system operation. Replace the sensor or its batteries.
In summary, the issue could be due to a fault in the heat pump, thermostat failure, power or Wi-Fi problems, or sensor issues. Each requires specific troubleshooting or replacement.
