Operating Instructions

• Plug in the toaster and set it to the desired toasting
level using the temperature control (3).
• Insert the bread into the break opening (4) and press
down the start control (1). The start control remains down as long as the bread is being
toasted.
• Once the bread is toasted, the slices eject through the bread openings (4) and the start control
(1) returns to its original position. The toaster switches automatically.
• Press the stop button (2) if you wish to stop toasting.
• If bread becomes attached to the toaster, unplug it, wait for it to cool down and only then
remove the bread.

Cleaning and Operating Cautions

• Always ensure that the toaster is unplugged before cleaning it.
• Never place it in water or any other conducting liquids.
• To clean the toaster, unplug it from the power source and allow it to cool down.
• Do not insert any objects, except bread or other foods that can be toasted.

Important Safeguards

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including
the followings:
• When initially using the toaster, turn it on for a few minutes without inserting bread. There
will appear to be a bit of smoke, however this is entirely normal.
• Never leave the appliance unattended.
• Do not use outdoors
• Do not insert oversized foods, metal foil packages or metal utensils into the toaster.
• Do not place on or near hot gas, electric burner or in a heated oven.
• Always ensure the toaster is turned off before plugging it or unplugging it from an outlet.
• If the cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by an authorized technical
service to avoid any injuries.
• Keep the toaster out of children's reach.
• Do not touch hot surfaces with bare hands.
• Use only pre-sliced bread.
• Do not operate in the presence of explosive or flammable fumes.
• Do not clean with metal scouring pads; pieces can break off the pad and touch electrical parts
involving a risk of electrical shock.
• This appliance is for household use only.
• Do not use the toaster near curtains or any other decorative fabrics, that can easy kindle, and
create a fire.
