Bread Toaster SP-1440-B1

Operation
• Plug the power cord to the outlet and adjust the type of toasting you require
with the regulator (3).
• Put the bread into the opening (4) and press the start control (1) down. It
remains down until the bread is toasted.
• Once toasted, the slices appear in the opening (4), and the start control (1)
returns to its original position. The toaster switches OFF automatically.
• Press the "STOP" and automatic ejects button (2) if you wish to stop the
toaster: this switches it OFF.
• If the bread sticks in the toaster, unplug the power cord, wait the toaster to cool
down and remove the bread.
Cleaning
• Ensure that the power cord is unplugged and the toaster is cooled down before
cleaning the toaster.
• Never place the toaster in water or any other liquid.
• Do not insert any object, including bread in the toaster.
Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliance, basic safely precautions should always be followed
including the following:
Read all instruction.
Before switching on, ensure that the voltage in the electrical network is same as that on the
characteristic plate.
Ensure that the outlet current is adequate.
First use the toaster for a few minutes without bread. There will be some smoke at first. This
is entirely normal.
