Connect a battery, capable of operating for 30 minutes or longer, and an AC adapter to Everio for update. * The following procedure shows the monitor displays of the firmware update from ver. 0.82 to ver. 1.55. * Use Windows XP or Windows Vista.

  • Page 9 EMERGENCY DISPLAY FUNCTION This model has a function to save emergency information in a flash ROM (IC3003). To obtain the emergency information, read the data using terminal software. There are types of terminal software including Windows HyperTerminal and freeware Tera Term. 2.4.1 Jig connector cable Connect the model to the serial port of the PC using the jig connector cable and the serial update jig (or communication cable).
