"Fast Freeze" Function

If you press and hold the °C/°F button for 3 seconds, the unit will enter the "Fast Freeze" mode. In this
mode, press the
hours, and the default setting time is 3 hours. If you set the fast freezing time longer than 4 hours, the
unit will defrost itself at the end of the "Fast Freeze" cycle. To stop the "Fast Freeze" function, again
press the °C/°F button and hold it for at least 3 seconds.

Defrosting

The freezer's frost-free feature eliminates the need for manual defrosting. Defrosting takes place
approximately every 14 hours (except when in the "Fast Freeze" mode); the defrost cycle lasts about
40 minutes. Melt water from the defrosting collects in a drip tray where it is evaporated. During the
process of defrosting, the temperature display may be higher than the set temperature.
You can force the unit into defrost mode at any time by pressing and holding the
seconds.
NOTES:
 If the unit is unplugged, turned off or if there is a power failure, you must wait 3 to 5 minutes
before restarting the unit. If you attempt to restart before this time delay, the freezer will not
work.
 When you use the freezer for the first time, or restart it after it has been shut off for a long time,
there could be a few degrees variance between the temperature you select and the one
indicated on the LED readout. This is normal and is due to the length of the inactivation time.
Once the freezer has been running for a few hours, everything should normalize.
