The meanings of the symbols are as follows:
Power-on indicator
Indicator is lit up: The notebook is switched on and ready to use.
Indicator flashes: The notebook is in standby mode.
The indicator is not lit up: The notebook is switched off.
Battery charging indicator
Indicator lights up: the battery is charging.
