IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
10. Never use attachments not recommended
or sold by the manufacturer. This may cause
personal injury and damage to the appliance.
The jug must only be used with this appliance.
11. Never let the machine operate while
unattended.
12. Never use your coffee maker without
water in it. Only use fresh and cold water to
brew coffee.
13. Never fill the water tank beyond the Max.
level. Do not use your coffee maker in case of
overflowing.
14. Never put the jug in an oven (including
microwave oven) or on a hot stove to warm
up the coffee.
15. The jug is not suitable for use in, refrigerator,
freezer or dishwasher.
16. Do not forget that the temperature of the
coffee prepared is high, handle the jug with
care to avoid scalding. Be careful not to get
burnt by the steam evaporating from the filter.
17. Handle the glass jug with care as the glass
is very fragile. Never use the appliance if the
jug shows any signs of cracks or is chipped or
damaged in any way.
18. Never place the empty or almost empty
glass jug on the warm plate when the coffee
maker is in function, or on any other hot
surfaces. Remove the jug from the warming
plate if it boils dry.
19. Always set any control to "off" before
unplugging from the socket.
20. Make sure the ambient temperature is
above 0°C, otherwise the appliance does not
function properly.
21. Always descale the appliance regularly to
ensure optimum performance and prevent
malfunction.

22. Make sure to cool down before cleaning or
storing the appliance.
23. The appliance may give off some smoke
and smell when you use it for the first times
because of the oil on some parts. This will
disappear after a few times use.
24. Do not clean the jug with abrasive
detergents or cleaners.
