IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT: Please read this instructions carefully before using
for the first time. Please retain the instructions for future reference.
CAUTION: Never touch the hot parts of the appliance (be careful,
also the warm plate and the glass jug is a hot part!). Only take the
jug by the handle.
DANGER: Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
IMPORTANT: The appliance should only be connected to an earthed
socket. Before using the appliance, make sure that its operating
voltage corresponds to that of the local power supply.
1. This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision. Keep
the appliance and its cord out of reach from
children less than 8 years.
2. Never use the appliance if the cord or the
plug has been damaged, if the appliance
should fail to operate or if the appliance is
damaged in any way. Always remove the plug
from the socket in case of any malfunction.
The appliance contains no part that can be
repaired by the user.
3. Incorrect use of the appliance may cause
personal injury and damage to the appliance.
4. Always disconnect the mains plug from the
supply socket when not in use, when you put
on or remove accessories and before cleaning
the appliance.

5. Do not immerse the housing in water or any
other liquid, or allow water to come into contact
with electrical connections or switches. This
may cause fire, electrical shock or injury.
6. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach
from children less than 8 years. Do not allow
the cord to hang down over the edge of the
work surface. Never disconnect the plug or
move the appliance by pulling on the supply
cord. Do not roll the cord up or wind it around
the appliance.
7. Never place the appliance or parts of it near
a heat source.
8. This appliance is intended for domestic use
only and similar applications such as:
–staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and
other working environments
–farm houses
–by clients in hotels, motels and other
residential type environments
–bed and breakfast type environments.
9. Do not use the appliance outdoor and only
use the appliance on a stable work surface,
away from water.
