3.3 Onboard Headers and Connectors

Please note that the onboard headers and connectors are NOT jumpers. Do NOT place jumper
caps over these headers and connectors, otherwise, it will cause permanent damage to the
motherboard.
SATA3 Connector
(SATA3_0: see p.14, No. 6)
This Serial ATA3 (SATA3)
(SATA3_0: see p.17, No. 6) connector supports
SATA data cables for internal storage devices.
The current SATA3 interface allows up to 6.0
Gb/s data transfer rate.
COM Port Header (RS232)
(9-pin COM1: see p.14, No. 4)
USB 2.0 Connector
(9-pin USB2_7_8: see p.14 No. 3)
There is one USB 2.0 connector.
System Panel Header
(9-pin PANEL1: see p.14, No. 8)
This header accommodates several system
front panel functions.
