    SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS EYE PROTECTION which conforms to ANSI specifications and provides protection against flying particles both from the FRONT and SIDE should ALWAYS be worn by the operator and others in the work area when connecting to air supply, loading, operating or servicing this tool.

    AIR CONSUMPTION: Model N70CBM requires 7.8 cubic feet per minute of free air to operate at the rate of 100 nails per minute, at 80 p.s.i.g. (5.6 kg/cm2). Take the actual rate at which the tool will be run to determine the amount of air required.

    Frequent, but not excessive, lubrication is required for best performance. Oil added through the air line connection will lubricate the internal parts. Use BOSTITCH Air Tool Lubricant, Mobil Velocite #10, or equivalent. Do not use detergent oil or additives as these lubricants will cause accelerated wear to the seals and bumpers in the tool, resulting in poor tool performance and frequent tool maintenance.

    5. Close the door. Check that latch engages. (If it does not engage, check that the nail heads are in the slot on the nose). NOTE: Use only fasteners recommended by Bostitch for the N70CBM Series nailers or nails which meet Bostitch specifications.

    READ AND UNDERSTAND THE WARNINGS CONTAINED IN THIS MANUAL. II. REFER TO “TOOL SPECIFICATIONS” IN THIS MANUAL TO IDENTIFY THE OPERATING SYSTEM ON YOUR TOOL. There are two available systems on BOSTITCH pneumatic tools. They are: 1. CONTACT TRIP OPERATION 2. SEQUENTIAL TRIP OPERATION OPERATION 1.

    “O”-rings. Coat each “O”-ring with “O”-LUBE before assembling. Use a small amount of oil on all moving surfaces and pivots. After reassembly add a few drops of BOSTITCH Air Tool Lubricant through the air line fitting before testing.

  • Page 14 CONSUMO DE AIRE: El modelo N70CBM requiere 0,22 m3 (7,7 pies cúbicos) por minuto de aire libre para operar a razón de 100 clavos por minuto a 5,6 Kg/cm2 (5,5 bars). Use la velocidad de clavar verdadera a la cual se operará la herramienta para determinar la cantidad de aire requerida.

No use aceite detergente o aditivos, ya que estos lubricantes causan el desgaste acelerado de los sellos y los amortiguadores de choque en la herramienta, dando como resultado un mal rendimiento de la herramienta y el mantenimiento frecuente de la misma.

    CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ UNE PROTECTION DES YEUX, conforme aux normes ANSI et fournissant une protection contre les projectiles en provenance de l’AVANT et des CÔTÉS, doit toujours être portée par l’opérateur et les personnes présentes dans la zone de travail, lors du raccordement au réseau d’air, du chargement, du fonctionnement et de la maintenance de l’outil.

    NE PAS DÉPASSER LA PRESSION MAXIMALE RECOMMANDÉE. CONSOMMATION D’AIR : Le N70CBM consomme 85 l d’air détendu par minute (3 pieds cubes/mn) lorsqu’il fonctionne à la cadence de 100 clous par minute, pour une pression d’utilisation de 5,6 kg/cm (5,5 bars).

    LUBE de Parker sur tous les joints toriques, avant de procéder à l’assemblage. Appliquer une fine pellicule de “O” LUBE sur toutes les pièces mobiles et pivots. Les opérations de remontage terminées, veiller à mettre quelques gouttes de lubrifiant pour outils pneumatiques BOSTITCH dans le circuit d’air avant de procéder aux essais.
