You can select the amount of information shown on the screen from full, partial or no display.
Repeatedly pressing the EVF DISPLAY button will cycle through the options in the following
sequence.
Normal screen display
Audio level indicator, zoom indicator, center and level markers, aspect ratio guides, safety zone
guides, EVF peaking/magnifying, recording program, EXP lock, ND filter, custom preset, shutter
speed, aperture, AE shift, gain, white balance, color bars, faders, skin detail, Speedlite flash
charge indicator, warning, date/time*
Center and level markers, safety zone guides, date/time*
No display
* When [GUIDE INFO] is set to [D/T DISPLAY].
Displaying the Center and Level Markers
Use the center and level markers to accurately frame subjects.

Open the menu and select [DISPLAY SETUP/
[CENT. MARK] or [LEVEL MARK] and close the menu.
Displaying the Aspect Ratio Guides
Use the aspect ratio guides as an indication to accurately frame subjects. You can select to display the
aspect guides for 4:3, 13:9, 14:9, 1.66:1, 1.75:1, 1.85:1 or 2.35:1 (Cinemascope).

Open the menu and select [DISPLAY SETUP/
setting option and close the menu.
Displaying the Safety Zone Guide
The safety zone guide shows a frame including 80% or 90% of the screen area. Use it as an indication to
accurately frame subjects.
