1 Overview This is a quick refence guide for the CID 75k. This guide provides an overview of the operation of switches and LED indicators found on the front of the CID 75k. For a more detailed information about the operation of the CID 75k, please download the Operation and Installation Guide that can be found at www.airphx.com/installation. 2 Front Cover Overview Switches: The CID 75k has the total of 5 push buttons with LED ring indicators. Active, Timer, Filter, Service and Fault. Button/LED Function: Active: The Active LED is not an actual push button but instead an LED indicator that follows the state of the plasma cells operation. The LED will illuminate green when the plasma cell is running and will be off when the plasma cell is not running. In addition to illuminating green, the Active LED can also illuminate red indicating a fault has been detected within the plasma cell. If this occurs, a fault message will be displayed on the LCD display located on the front of the unit. LED off – Plasma cell is not running LED green – Plasma cell is running LED red – A fault has been detected with the plasma cell Timer: The Timer button/LED controls the on/off function of the 7 Day Timer on the front of the unit. When pressed, the LED will illuminate green indicating that the 7 Day Timer function is activated. In this mode of operation, the on/off function of the plasma cell is controlled by the schedules programmed in the 7 Day Timer. Button function – Turns the 7 Day Timer function on and off when pressed. LED off – 7 Day Timer function is not activated. LED green – 7 Day Timer function is activated. Filter: The Filter button/LED indicates when it is time to check the intake filter. The LED will illuminate green when the unit is first turned on and remain green for 30 days of operation. At 30 days, the LED will illuminate red as a reminder that it is time to check the filter. Please note that the unit will turn off after 45 days of operation unless the filter has been checked and the filter reset procedure has been performed. If you cannot easily see light through the filter, it needs to be replaced. Please refer to the Operation and Installation Guide for more details on how to check and replace the filter and perform the reset procedure. Button function – Reset the filter monitoring function when pressed. LED green – The filter does not need to be checked at this time. LED red – The filter needs to be checked and replaced if dirty and the filter reset procedure needs ...
3 Front Cover Overview cont. Service: The Service button/LED indicates when it is time to replace the plasma cell. The Service LED will illuminate green when the unit is first turned on and remain green for 365 days of operation. At 365 days, the Service LED will illuminate red indicating it is time to replace the plasma cell. In addition, the unit will turn off and remain off until the plasma cell is replaced, and the service reset procedure is performed. Please refer to the Operation and Installation Guide that can be found at airphx.com/installation for details on how to replace the plasma cell and reset the Service LED. To purchase a replacement plasma cell, go to airphx.com/shop or contact your AIRPHX representative. Button function – Reset the service monitoring function when pressed. LED green – The plasma cell does not need to be replaced at this time. LED red – The plasma cell needs to be replaced and the service reset procedure needs to be performed. Fault: The fault button/LED indicates when a fault has been detected with the CID 75k. If a fault has been detected, the Fault LED will illuminate red and a fault message will be displayed on the LCD display located on the front of the unit.
