4. Thread the axle nut onto the other side of the
axle bolt with the larger side of the nut facing
the dropout. Thread the axle nut with your
fingers until the larger side is against the fork
dropout surface.

5. Hold the axle nut with your fingers, and
tighten turn the axle bolt clockwise.with the
Charge torque tool. Continue until you feel
and hear the tool loud clicking noise
indicating that the tightening torque has been
reached.

Make sure the bolt is torqued correctly with
the torque wrench. Do not ride the bike if
the bolt is not torqued correctly.
The Charge torque tool is pre-set to apply to
a specific torque value marked on it. Torque
values are indicated in newton meters.
A torque can only be set when turning the
tool clockwise. The tool does not apply
torque in the counter-clockwise direction.
When using the tool, make sure you hear and
feel the click the tool produces when the
indicated torque is reached. See video at

Other torque tools are available through
hardware stores or bikes dealers, and online.
Other torque tools can be preset or have a
variable range that and must be set for each
fastener.

Rear wheel removal and installation is
complex.
We surge that you visit a bicycle dealer to
help you with installation and removal of the
rear wheel on your bike.
You must also observe the drive system
manufacturer's instructions concerning
installing the rear wheel, tightening the hub axle
nuts, and or other drive system specifics such
as connecting wires, sensors or controls.
