5. BEFORE OPERATING THE EQUIPMENT

Before undertaking any work on the machine itself, pull out the power plug

The tool can be changed simply and easily with the SDS-tool holder and without any additional aids.

Grease the shank end of the tool regularly

The front cover (1) prevents most of the drilling dust from entering into the machine when it is in operation. When inserting tools,

take care not to damage the rubber head (1). Have the customer service department change a damaged dust protection cap

immediately.

Inserting

Clean and grease the shank end of the tool. Push back the SDS-Plus chuck (2) of the tool holder and insert the tool into the tool

holder by turning it. Then release the SDS-Plus chuck (2). Check that the tool is correctly locked in place by pulling on it.

Removing

Push back the SDS-Plus chuck (2) of the tool holder and remove the tool. Then release the SDS-Plus chuck (2)

Auxiliary handle

Use the machine only with the auxiliary handle (8). Loosen the handle by turning it anti-clockwise. Rotate the auxiliary

handle (11) to the desired working position and retighten the handle ﬁrmly.

Indicator light

Connect the plug to the power outlet, the indicator light (5) will switch on.

Loosen the locking knob (10) for the depth stop (9) and place the straight part of the depth stop (9) in the hole. Then tight en the

locking knob .
