No, the Westwood T1800 4WD cannot move forward or backward without the engine running. Movement requires engine power to operate the hydrostatic transmission.

I have a westwood S1400 . Battery is charged and connected, fuses checked. No ignition lights on turning key, but inside can see red-light under bonnet which also has green light when brake applied, but nothing happening when starting button pressed.

If a Westwood S1400 has no ignition lights when the key is turned, despite a charged battery and checked fuses, possible issues include:

1. A faulty ignition switch.
2. A disconnected or damaged wiring connection.
3. A blown fuse that was missed during inspection.
4. A malfunctioning safety switch, such as the park brake or seat switch.

If these checks do not resolve the issue, contacting a tractor dealer is recommended.
