    Tilt the front of the rack upward and slide the rack back into place. Element On and Hot Surface Indicator Lights The Coil Cook Top range is equipped with a surface control light that will glow on your range— the Element On indicator light.

    Do not place plastic items such as salt and pepper shakers, spoon holders or plastic wrappings on top of the range when it is in use. These items could melt or ignite. Potholders, towels or wooden spoons could catch fire if placed too close to the element.

    Note: The time of day must first be set in order to operate the oven. To Set the Clock When the range is first plugged in, or when the power supply to the range has been interrupted, the display will flash "12:00". 1. Press 2.
  • Page 10 To Set or Change the Temperature for Baking The oven can be programmed to bake at any temperature from 170°F to 500°F. To Set the Controls for Baking: 1. Press . "— — —°" appears in the display. 2. Within 5 seconds, press the temperature can then be adjusted in 5°F increments.
  • Page 11 The broiler pan and the insert allows grease to drain and be kept away from the high heat of the broiler. DO NOT use the pan without the insert. DO NOT cover the insert with foil; the exposed grease could ignite.

  • Page 13 Consistent and proper cleaning is essential to maintaining your Ceramic Glass cooktop. Prior to using your cooktop for the first time, apply some of the cooktop cleaning cream supplied with your new range. Buff with a non-abrasive cloth or pad such as a 3M Scotch-Brite® Blue Multi-Purpose No Scratch Scrub Sponge. This will make cleaning easier when soiled from cooking.
