Figure 1 The self-check will be complete in 5 seconds and the device will enter the function selection interface (see Figure 2 below). Three items will be available for selection, including “Enter Test Status”, “Inquire Historic Data” and “Device Function Setting”. At the same time, the sensor self-check and the battery level will also be displayed.

3.6 Touch “Test” on the instrument panel or press the “Test” button on the grip panel to start the sensor and the sampling air pump after one beep is heard. The device will enter normal test status and the clock for measuring will start running.

After a test is started, move the grip probe about slowly at an average speed to detect the leaking point. When a leaking point is located, the specific data will be displayed on the screen and the buzzer will start beeping at a certain frequency. Basically there are 5 levels: once every 5 second upon a value of 10% above the alarm point;...

After choosing, touch “Confirm” key on the interface. Following a buzz, the instrument will enter the chosen status. The default setting is “Save”. When “Save” is chosen, the instrument will enter the save status. Touch “Up”, “Down”, “Left” or “Right” key on the interface to set the instrument numbers.

Touch the “Up” or “Down” key on the instrument panel to choose historical data, and “Left” or “Right” keys to view the functions of “Read”, “Delete” or “Back”. After choosing the data and function, touch “Confirm” key for further processing. If “Read” is chosen (refer to Figure 13 below), the following information will be shown: total timing of the measuring process, maximum density, warning density, environment density, leakage speed rate, annual leakage, annual leakage rate, and curve chart, etc.

Please keep this instrument in a safe place to avoid pollutants such as dust, water, and oil, etc., which will influence the performance of the instrument. SF6 gas in standard density of 100ppm is required if the user would like to calibrate the instrument.
