    • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. • If the power supply cord is damaged, it must only be replaced by a Kogan.com technician or a technician on Kogan.com’s behalf. • Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with flammable propellants inside.
  • Page 4 • Unplug the unit from the power outlet in the event of a power failure or when cleaning. Avoid plugging the unit back in within the space of 5 minutes after unplugging to avoid damage to the compressor. • The refrigerator should be used only for the storage of household foods and drinks. It is not designed for storage of blood, drugs or other biological products.

  • Page 6 Temperature Dial Turn the temperature control knob to MAX and the internal temperature will lower. Turn the temperature control knob to MIN and the internal temperature will get higher. MED represents Medium, between the two. Turning the temperature control to “OFF” will stop the refrigerator from running. Please note that MIN, MED and MAX do not represent set levels, and that the fridge’s contents will affect the overall internal temperature.

    GETTING STARTED Placement Before use, remove oil packaging materials, including bottom cushions, foam pads and tope from inside the refrigerator. Remove any protective films on the doors and body. Place the refrigerator in a location away from heat and direct sunlight. Do not place the freezer in a moist or watery location to prevent rust.
  • Page 8 Step 1: Power off the refrigerator and remove all objects from the door trays. Step 2: Use masking tape to seal the door shut. Step 3: Dismantle the upper hinge cover, screws and upper hinge, then remove the plastic screw hole caps from the other side. Step 4: Dismantle the bottom hinge assembly and the adjustable foot and then assemble the bottom hinge assembly and adjustable foot on the other side.

    Step 5: Put the door on the bottom hinge and assemble the upper hinge, upper hinge cover and plastic screw hole caps successively. Remove the masking tape. The hinge swap is complete! Starting Up OPERATION • Before the initial start, keep the refrigerator still for half an hour before connecting it to a power supply.
  • Page 10 Energy Saving Tips • This appliance should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat sources and heating ducts, as well as away from direct sunlight. • Let hot foods cool to room temperature before placing them in the refrigerator. Overloading the fridge forces the compressor to run longer.

    CLEANING & CARE Cleaning • Dust behind the refrigerator and on the ground should be cleaned to improve the cooling effect and improve energy efficiency. The interior of the refrigerator should be cleaned regularly to avoid odours. Soft towels or sponges dipped in water and non-corrosive neutral detergents are suggested for cleaning.
