In the event of an accident, have a plan for rescue, including the use of devices that may be easily reached while suspended.

ALWAYS ensure that you and your treestand are safely secured to a healthy tree. Your tree stand MUST be attached tightly to the tree and secured in place. If the stand is not secure, it may shift while in use, resulting in serious injury or death.
