Repair

8.2.1 Replacing the pressure gauge
Method:
1. Unscrew the pressure gauge's (pos. 67) cover.
2. Using a pressure gauge puller (included in the service set), pull the pressure gauge out
of the instrument whilst rotating it.
3. Take the pressure gauge out of the housing.
4. Check the O-rings (pos. 5 and 36). If necessary, replace them.
5. Carefully install the new pressure gauge.
6. Replace the pressure gauge's cover.
8.2.2 Replacing the battery
An electrical impulse is given via the platinum wires when the handle (pos. 22) is moved from
the sample taking position to the measuring position.
This impulse lasts for approximately 7 seconds. If the LED starts to flash, then the battery must
be replaced.
Attention!
Method:
1. Unscrew the battery housing's (pos. 76) cover,
2. Remove the battery from the battery housing,
3. Insert a new battery into the correct position in the battery housing (pay attention to the
+ve and -ve terminals),
4. Replace the battery housing's cover.

There must not be any condensation in the battery housing.
Therefore, first allow the temperature of the instrument to come up
to room temperature.
