Important Precautions This unit has been engineered and manufactured to ensure your personal safety, however improper use may result in potential electrical shock or fire hazards. In order to allow the proper operation of all safeguards incorporated in this display, observe the following basic rules for its installation, use, and servicing. - Page 3 Important Precautions On Installation Do not allow anything to rest upon or roll over the power cord, and do not place the display where the power cord is subject to damage. Do not use this display near water such as near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool.

Important Precautions On Cleaning Unplug the display before cleaning the face of the display screen. Use a slightly damp (not wet) cloth. Do not use an aerosol directly on the display screen because over-spraying may cause electrical shock. Connecting the Display Before setting up the monitor, ensure that the power to the monitor, the computer system, and other attached devices are turned off. Connecting the stand base or Removing the stand base Place the monitor with its front facing downward on a cushion or soft cloth. Assemble the Stand Base into the Stand Body. -

Connecting the Display Use a coin on the back of the stand base and turn the screw clockwise to tighten. Lift and turn the monitor to face towards the front after the connection is made to the female part of the cable you're attaching. When you desire to disintegrate the monitor from the stand base, use a coin to turn the screw counterclockwise. - Page 8 Connecting the Display Height Range : maximum 4.33 inches (110.0 mm) When adjusting the angle of the screen, do not put your finger(s) in between the head of the monitor and the stand body. You can hurt your finger(s). When adjusting the height of the screen, do not put your finger(s) in between the head of the monitor and the stand base.

Connecting the Display Using the Pivot function -The pivot function allows you to rotate the screen 90 degrees clockwise. Lift the monitor to its highest height to utilize the Pivot function. . Landscape & Portrait : You can rotate the panel 90 Please be cautious and avoid contact between the monitor head and the Stand Base when rotating the screen to access the Pivot function. -

Control Panel Functions Front Panel Controls MENU Button OSD LOCKED/UNLOCKED This function allows you to lock the current control settings, so that they cannot be inadvertently changed. Press and hold the MENU button for several seconds. The message "OSD LOCKED" should appear. You can unlock the OSD controls at any time by pushing the MENU button for several seconds. - Page 12 (display mode). The best display mode is E1910P:1280 x 1024 E2210P:1680 x 1050 When two input signals are connected, you can select the input signal (D-SUB/DVI) you want. When only one signal is connected, it is automatically detected.

Troubleshooting Display image is incorrect Display Position is incorrect. On the screen background, vertical bars or stripes are visible. Any horizontal noise appearing in any image or characters are not clearly portrayed. IMPORTANT Check Control Panel --> Display --> Settings and see if the frequency or the resolution were changed. - Page 26 • Be sure to install the display driver from the display driver CD (or diskette) that comes with your display. Installing the Wall mount plate This monitor satisfies the specifications of the Wall mount plate or the interchange device.
