HDO9000 Rack Mount Accessory

Using the Torx T10 driver, unscrew and remove all
four feet from the bottom of the oscilloscope body.
CAUTION: Lay the oscilloscope on its back to do this. Standing
the unit on its head will leave it unbalanced and prone to
falling.

Attach the tray to the bottom of the oscilloscope body using
the four M4x10 Phillips screws, two on each side.

Install the oscilloscope in your rack using the hardware
recommended by your rack manufacturer.
Support the bottom of the oscilloscope firmly as you lift it into
the rack.
Make sure the rack does not to block the cooling vents on the
sides of the oscilloscope body.

Attach the faceplate to the front of the brackets using the
thumbscrews in the faceplate.
CAUTION: This rack mount kit is designed to fit standard 19-inch rack
cabinets per EIA/ECA 310-E. It has been designed for heated air exhaust
through vents on the left and right sides of the instrument. Some rack
cabinets might present unusual obstacles that can block exhaust vents. If you

CAUTION: This rack mount is designed for static racks and carts that
may be moved over smooth, indoor surfaces. Do not use this rack mount to
install an oscilloscope into a moving vehicle or for other outdoor applications.
Do not destabilize an HDO9000 oscilloscope in any way during operation.
