    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR QUALIFIED GAS INSTALLER Unpacking • Carefully undo strapping to separate loose parts and remove all plastic protective sheeting. • Confirm that all components for the firepit are present, and accounted for. Positioning and Sizing build up a masonry or steel platform to the customers design, with a suitable space to drop the firepit into, so that it rests on the surrounding rim.

    OUTDOOR FIREPIT: OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS The Outdoor Firepit Valve opens manually to allow gas through to the burner. 1. Open any Shut-Off valves in the gas line, leading up to the Control box. 2. Depress and Turn the ON/OFF VALVE counter-clockwise until first stop, and keep the knob depressed.

    WARNINGS WARNING This Outdoor Firepit must NEVER be installed Indoors WARNING CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING CAN LEAD TO DEATH Carbon monoxide poisoning: Early signs of carbon monoxide poisoning resemble the flu, with headaches, dizziness or nausea. If you have these signs, the heater may not be working properly. Get fresh air at once.

    CLEANING It is normal for soot deposits to appear on the ceramic logs. This phenomenon adds a rustic aesthetic to your firepit and should not be of concern. If the soot deposits are such that the build-up is excessive, then clean each log individually with a broom, or brush when cold.
