MERTIK VALVE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS LIGHTING PROCEDURE. 1. Turn ON/OFF Knob A slightly left towards the IGNITION position stop, press down and hold for 5 seconds (gas flows only to the pilot burner). 2.
