    Fig. 2 Introduction The SDI-RAINE-HYDRO sensor (referred to as the RAINE-HYDRO in this document) measures precipitation amount and intensity. It combines the latest weighing technology with a self-emptying collecting vessel, allowing higher resolution and precision with minimal total volume compared to common tipping bucket sensors.
