Turn the main switch to "ON".

Kickstart the engine.

Turn the light switch to "LO" or "HI".
G
Check the voltage (12 V) of the "Green"
G
and "Yellow" leads on the bulb socket con-
nector.
This circuit is not faulty.

2.If the tail/brake light fails to come on:
1.Bulb and bulb socket
Check the bulb and bulb socket for continu-

ity.
2.Voltage
Connect the pocket tester (20 V) to the bulb
G
socket connectors.
Tester (+) lead → Blue lead 1
Tester (–) lead → Black lead 2
Turn the main switch to "ON".

Kickstart the engine.
G
Check the voltage (12 V) of the "Blue" lead
G
on the bulb socket connector.
This circuit is not faulty.
