MAINTENANCE
FLUSHING INSTRUCTIONS:
IMPORTANT: Pipe chips, sand, stones and other
solids found in new and renovated plumbing can
damage the sealing surfaces of the cartridge and
cause leaks. To avoid damages, DO NOT OPER-
ATE THE VALVE until you have followed these
instructions.
1. After installing and connecting your new
faucet, turn the faucet on in the full cold
position (handle pointing to the right) and
turn on the cold supply for 15 seconds.
2. Without closing the valve, turn to the full hot
position (handle pointing to the left) and turn
the hot supply for 15 seconds.
3. Close the valve, unscrew the aerator from
the end of the spout and clean the aerator
screen.
4. Replace aerator and check system for leaks.
TO CORRECT REVERSED HOT AND COLD
POSITIONS:
1. Position handle so the pointer faces directly to
the rear of the faucet. Remove handle cap
(follow instructions for "cartridge replacement").
Remove handle screw and handle.
2. Turn valve stem around so that the notch is
turned one half turn or 180°.

3. Re-install handle in the same position that it
was in when you took it off (pointed directly to
rear of the faucet). Tighten handle screw
securely and replace handle cap.

ITRUCITONS POUR RINÇAGE:
IMPORTANT: Des débris de tuyauterie, du sable,
de la pierraille et d'autres solides qui se retrouvent
la plomberie nouvelle et rénovée peuvent
endommager les surfaces étanches de la
cartouche et causer des fuites. Pour prévenir de
tels dommages, NE PAS OUVRIR LES
ADDUCTIONS D'EAU avant d'avoir suivi les
instructions suivantes.
1. Après avoir installé et raccordé votre nouveau
robinet, tourner complètement la poignée en
position FROID (la poignée dirigée vers la
droite) et ouvrir l'alimentation en eau froide
pour 15 secondes.
2. Sans fermer la poignée, tourner complètement
à la position CHAUD (la poignée dirigée vers
la gauche) et ouvrir l'alimentation en eau
chaude pendant 15 secondes.
3. Fermer la poignée, dévisser l'aérateur du bout
du bec et nettoyer le tamis.
4. Replacer l'aérateur et vérifier si le système a
des fuites.
POUR RENVERSER LES POSITIONS
CHAUDES ET FROIDES:
1. Diriger la poignée vers vous. Enlever le
capuchon de poignée (voir instructions à la
section démontage). Enlever la vis de poignée,
la poignée et le bâti de poignée.
2. Tourner la tige de cartouche pour l'encoche
soit tournée d'un demi-tour ou de 180°.

3. Réinstaller la poignée dans la même position
qu'elle occupait avant le démontage (dirigée
directement vers vous). Serrer fermement la
poignée et replacer le capuchon de poignée.

INSTRUCCIONES DE LIMPIEZA:
IIMPORTANTE: Rebabas, arena, piedras y otros
sólidos presentes en tubería nueva y renovada
pueden dañar las superficies sellantes del cartucho
y causar fugas. Para evitar daños, NO ABRA LAS
VALVULAS DE ALIMENTACION hasta que siga
las siguientes instrucciones:
1. Después de instalar y conectar su nueva
mezcladora, gire la mezcladora a posición de
frío completo (la manija apuntando a la derecha)
y abra el agua fría durante 15 segundos.
2. Sin cerrar la mezcladora, gire la mezcladora a
posición de caliente completo (la manija
apuntando a la izquierda) y abra el agua caliente
durante 15 segundos.
3. Cierre la válvula, desenrosque el aireador del
extremo de la salida y limpie la malla del aireador.
4. Coloque de nuevo el aireador y revise si hay
fugas en el sistema.
CORRECCION DE POSICIONES INVERTIDAS
CALIENTE Y FRIA:
1. Posicione la manija de tal forma que el indicador
apunte directamente hacia atrás de la
mezcladora. Remueva la tapa de la manija (siga
las instrucciones para "cambio del cartucho").
Remueva el tornillo de la manija y la manija.
2. Gire el vástago del cartucho de tal forma que la
ranura sea girada media vuelta o 180°.

3. Reinstale la manija en la misma posición que
estaba cuando la removió (apuntando
directamente hacia atrás de la mezcladora).
Apriete el tornillo de la manija seguramente y
coloque de nuevo la tapa de la manija.
