Introduction
Thank you for choosing to purchase this quality product. To minimise the risk of injury, we ask you to
always take some basic safety precautions when using this product. Please read this operating manual
carefully and make sure that you understand it.
Keep these operation instructions in a safe place.
The mini kayak hanger is a quick and easy solution for storing your kayak. These easy-to-mount wall
hangers are made with strong heavy-duty powder-coated steel with foam paddling to protect the surface
of your kayak. The hangers come with mounting bolts for simple installation. The wall hanger is the ideal
way to keep your kayak off the ground and out from underfoot. Thus, you avoid damaging the finish
surface of your kayak on rough cement garage floors or sandy porches. The wall hanger is easy to
install. Just follow these instructions:
Find a safe place where your kayak is protected from
damage from swing doors or falling objects such as
rakes, shovels, and other tools found in most garages
and warehouses. Keep the area under the wall brack-
ets of the kayak free to prevent accidents while it is
being carried, lowered, or hung up, and allow sufficient
space to lift the kayak if necessary. Do not mount the
hooks at a height that you cannot reach; lift the kayak
over the hook ends.
Thick wooden beams are best for attaching the brack-
ets. It is important that the screws in the top two holes
are firmly embedded in the beam. If you have thick
drywall or plastered walls, you may need to purchase
longer screws. The holes on the base plate are not re-
quired for installation in wood. It is their purpose to pre-
vent the hooks from moving from side to side. Make
sure that you use the wall anchors provided.
Note:
Make sure that there is enough space left between the
hangers so that the narrow ends of the kayak tips can be put
onto the hooks.
Tip:
To make it easier to hang the kayak up, tip it slightly. When
one end is securely put onto the hook, lift the other end into the
other hook. Remove the kayak just like that.
Caution:
Do not place or remove the kayak from a ladder or stool. Property damage and serious injury
can result if you fall off the ladder or stool.
