4. OPERATION
WARNING! Ensure that you read and understand the Section 1 safety
instructions before use.
4.1.
SWITCHING ON
4.1.1. Charge the battery before first use, see Section 3.
4.1.2. Turn the lantern on by pressing the rocker switch (fig.1A)
- 'I' for main torch, which will give 3hrs use from a full charge.
- 'II' for the side tube LED, which will give 24hrs use from a full charge.
4.1.3. Turn off the lantern by pressing the switch to 'O'.
4.2.
HANDLE ORIENTATION
4.2.1. Press the handle button (fig.2A).
4.2.2. While holding the button pull the handle away from the lantern.
4.2.3. Release the button and the handle should click into place at the end of its
travel. (fig.2B).

Environmental Protection
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste.
All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a
recycle centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with
the environment.
When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an
environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid waste
authority for recycling information.
Battery Removal
 WARNING! To avoid electric shock, ensure the battery is
exhausted before removing.
1.
Press the switch to the off position '
2.
Twist the reflector assembly (fig.3B) anti-clockwise, and pull away
from the casing.
3.
With the reflector assembly removed, separate the wires by
unclipping the connector (fig.4A).
4.
Remove all the screw holding the two parts of the casing together,
using a phillips screwdriver (fig.3A).
5.
To split the casing push down and pull apart the two tabs. (see
fig.4B).
6.
Cut the wires connecting to the battery, cut the negative black wire
first.
Dispose of batteries according to local authority guidelines.
