Cast personal media with Wi-Fi Direct
If your TV supports Wi-Fi Direct,
play media from your phone.

Fix a problem
After each step, see if your issue is fixed.
Check the basics
1. If you're using a VPN, turn off the VPN and try again.
2. Make sure your phone and Chromecast or smart TV are connected to the same
