Configuring in the Web-Based Management (WBM)

After the device is switched on for the first time, the WBM interface is displayed
automatically, depending on the setting. If you want to change the configuration
later during operation, press the "CFG/RST" button or use the swipe gesture (see
also section "Visualization").
In the WBM user interface, you can configure the Touch Panel directly on the
touch screen.
Alternatively, you can also connect the Touch Panel to your PC via ETHERNET
and configure the Web panel from the PC. For this purpose, read the panel's IP
address in the WBM under "Information" > "Network Details X1/X2" and then
enter it as the address in the PC's Web browser.
See in the WBM WBM Page „TCP/IP Configuration" > Group(s) „IP Configuration
(Xn)" resp. „Networking > TCP/IP" Page > Group „IP Configuration".
Two versions of the WBM are available on the Touch Panel:
The complete legacy version, through which all the device parameters are
accessible
The new WBM, which is optimized for operation via the touchscreen
When displayed by the browser on a PC, you see the legacy version. The legacy
version of the WBM should be configured via an external PC, since the legacy
version is not optimized for touch input.
The new WBM does not yet have all the functionalities. On the touchscreen, the
touch-optimized version is automatically displayed.
You can switch from one version to the other: You will find an "Open New WBM"
link for this purpose in the top header in the legacy version. In the new WBM, the
link to the legacy version is found in the menu item "Configuration > Additional
Settings."
Some pages of the WBM are accessible only for certain users. They are only
displayed if you have logged into the WBM. You can access the login form via
the "Login" link. Pages which cannot be accessed with your current user name
are already grayed out in the navigation. You can nevertheless select the entries
in the navigation bar and are then routed directly to the login form.
As soon as you have logged in, your current user name is displayed in the
header of the WBM. By clicking the "Logout" link you can log out again and then
log in again with a different user name. When using the WBM without logging in,
you are granted "Guest" access rights.
You must be logged into the WBM in order to have write or read access to (most)
parameters. This is checked with every access to the device.
If you have disabled cookies in your web browser, you can continue to use the
WBM as long as you move directly inside it. However, if you fully reload the
