You can quickly find a specific topic (e.g., an infec-
tion or drug) by selecting it from the Index. Usually
you need to type only the first few letters of a topic
to highlight it on the Index. Try this example.
1. Highlight the Index.
2. Start typing a word or phrase (e.g., hepatic abscess ).
