Finding English Spellings

If you don't know how to spell an English word, type
a question mark in place of each unknown letter or
an asterisk in place of a series of unknown letters.
1. Press
CLEAR
2. Type an English word with ?'s and 's.
To type an asterisk, hold

4. Highlight a matching word.

Spelling Finding Tips
• Use question marks to find lists of words. For
example, to find four-letter words beginning with a
z , enter z??? .
• Use question marks to help solve crossword
puzzles and other word games. For example, if
the second letter of a five-letter word is l and its
fourth letter is r , enter ?l?r? .
