Use a NGK BPR6ES spark plug or equivalent.
1. Ensure that the engine is OFF. Carefully remove the spark plug wire from the
spark plug.
2. Clean the cylinder head area around the spark plug and remove the plug
from the cylinder head.
3. Inspect the spark plug.
Replace a cracked, fouled or dirty spark plug. Do not sand blast,
scrape or clean spark plug electrodes because engine damage could
result from grit enter cylinder.
4. Set spark plug electrode gap from 0.7 to 0.8 mm.
5. Install correctly gapped spark plug into the cylinder head and torque the
spark plug to 23 N·m (17 ft−lb).
6. Connect the spark plug wire to the spark plug.
