8. Changing the temperature on your Water Bath

Your water temperature is adjustable and can be set to
reach splint materials recommended operating
temperature. (See splint manufacturer's instructions.)
Note: Most splint material on the market today, has an
operating range between 113°F (45°C) to 200°F (93°C).
Your Water Bath is capable of approximate maximum
temperature of 200°F (93°C), depending on amount of
water in unit.
Note: Thermal Overheating Sensor is set to shut down
unit at temperatures of 215°F (102°C) and above.
(Caution: Unit will automatically turn back on once the
temperature has dropped to lower temperature.)
The thermostat is very sensitive, even a small
adjustment can raise or lower the temperature several
degrees. To adjust the temperature, turn black knob at
the lower right hand side of unit:
TO RAISE TEMPERATURE
When raising temperature, allow the temperature to
stabilize and read the water temperature on the digital
thermometer above the knob. Keep lid closed while unit is
heating up.
When lowering temperature, allow the temperature to
stabilize and read the water temperature on the digital
thermometer above the knob. Keep lid open while unit is
cooling down.
