  • Page 10 The MTI Procedure Chair is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment in which radiated RF disturbances are controlled. The customer or the user of the MTI Procedure Chair can help prevent electromagnetic interference by maintaining a minimum distance between portable and mobile RF communications equipment (transmitters) and the MTI Procedure Chair as recommended below, according to the maximum output power of the communications equipment.

    User Manual | MTI 550 Avoidance System™ will establish new Safe Zones for the foot section of the chair. These safe zones limit the movement of the chair when the foot section is below 45 degrees from the seat. When the chair reaches a safe zone limit, it will beep and stop motion. To move the chair again, move the foot section away from the floor or remove the accessory.
  • Page 21 Program Buttons The Program Buttons move the chair to a user defined Program Position. NOTE: The chair has no pre-existing Program Positions upon arriaval and will only beep and not move until Porogram Positions (P1, P2, P3, P4) have been saved. The Program Buttons have two button settings that can be changed by the user.
