4. Lights
The DUET offers different lighting options
to accommodate different situations. Press
the button to change between these four
settings.
• Control panel illuminates the control panel
only. It is the default setting.
• Control panel plus nightlight - illuminates
the control panel and adds small lights that
shine through both sides of the water tank.
• Nightlight only - no lights on except the
small lights shining though the water tanks.
• All lights off - no lights visible. All functions
stay as set.
5 Essential Oil Diffuser
A small, spring loaded essential oil tray
diffuser is installed in the back of the DUET's
base. Place two aroma diffuser pads (part #
AURP10PK) into the tray and add a few drops
of your favorite essential oil. The scent will
emanate through the released mist. We rec-
ommend AIRCARE brand essential oils, how-
ever, any essential oils made for diffusers
can be added to the tray. Use the essential
oils in accordance with the instructions on
the bottles. DO NOT ADD ESSENTIAL OILS
DIRECTLY TO THE WATER.
MAINTENANCE
General
Cleaning your humidifier regularly helps elimi-
nate odors and bacterial growth and helps main-
tain the performance by reducing mineral build
up on the nebulizer.
Do not leave water in the water tank or base
when unit is not in use for more than a day. Min-
eral deposits and bacterial growth can accumu-
late very quickly.
CAUTION: Never immerse the base of this unit into
water.
NOTE: Never use harsh cleaners or chemicals on
this humidifier. Do not use scouring agents on the
outer body, or water tank, as this will scratch and
mar the surface.
