Hold the EM Base Station with one hand while connecting or disconnecting EM instruments with
the other. In this way, no unintended movement of the EM Base Station on the OR table rail can
occur.

Power up the system by switching on the power at the EM Power Supply and Monitor
Cart.

Locate the bayonet connector on EM Base Station cables (e.g., EM instruments, naviga-
tion system or tool extension port cables) ①.
Pull the bayonet back to unlock the connector ②.
Pull the plug out ③.

Locate the power connector at the EM Base Station ①.
Push the release trigger on the top of the plug ②.
Pull plug out ③.
