Introduction

The PXIe-8522 and PXIe-8523 modules are 4-port, unshielded twisted pair (UTP) Automotive
Ethernet interfaces for developing applications with the NI-XNET driver. These modules are
ideal for developing applications that require Automotive Ethernet to test and validate
automotive electronic control units (ECUs).
The PXIe-8522 module is fixed at 1000BASE-T1. The PXIe-8523 module is configurable
between 100BASE-T1 and 1000BASE-T1.

Note A ferrule crimping tool is not included with this product. Tighten the connector screw flanges to the torque specification in the PXIe-8522 Specifications or PXIe-8523 Specifications for the best shock and vibration performance. The connector screw flanges ship in a non-torqued configuration for easy removal.
