To deploy on a server in the VxFlex Ready Node environment, the following
prerequisites must be met:

For OS installation guidelines, refer to the operating system vendor's documentation,
taking into account the VxFlex Ready Node prerequisites listed in this section.

required, you can change the password by using the passwd command.
Install the OS on the BOSS device.

The VxFlex Ready Node server may ship with a factory-installed, customized ESXi

image for use with the VxFlex OS AMS solution. Before installing the OS on
systems that use the VxFlex OS plug-in, you must revert the ISO to a VMware-
based image that is compatible with the plug-in. For information, see

The best source for supported storage drivers is the Dell customized ISO for ESXi 6.5
U1. If this cannot be used, consult the VMware support matrix for Dell products on the
VMware website.

ESXi 6.5 U1 have the minimum supported driver version.
