I have just purchased the AEG KMK968000M oven and **** trying to get to grips with a few functions! I regular cook items using conventional cooking so need to be able to do this. I have got as far as selecting the icon for this type of cooking and the required temperature, but I can't work out how to set a cooking time. Would be grateful for some assistance with this, please. Thank you
To set the cooking time on the AEG KMK968000M oven after selecting conventional cooking:
1. Turn on the oven.
2. Select the heating function and press the knob.
3. Set the temperature and press the knob.
4. Select Timer and press the knob.
5. Choose the preferred timer value and press the knob to confirm.
Additionally, you can extend the cooking time using the 10% Finish Assist feature by pressing the preferred time icon (+1 min or +5 min).

@Mr. Anderson What do you mean when you say 'preferred time value?' Suppose I want to cook an item for 30 mins, do I turn the knob to show 30mins? That would be good, but I can only do this up to 7 minutes and it stops and goes no further..
In follow up to my original question, I can successfully select a cooking function (i.e. conventional cooking) and a desired temp. When I select timer, it only lets me turn the command wheel to 7 mins and stops - why is this?
