7.5 GPS
The
GPS
settings is used to configure the GPS receiver when the Platinum does not get
good GPS data.
You can use
Tests GPS
to check the GPS data input.
Tap
on the Settings menu to open GPS Settings.
Since each type of GPS receivers may have different protocol for data communication,
before you tap <Connect>, make sure the type of GPS receiver shown on the
<Receiver> bar is correct. As shown in the picture, the receiver type is AgNav-P500 or
P550.
Tap <Connect> to initiate the communication with the GPS receiver. If the connection is
successful, data received from GPS receiver will be shown on screen.
