The System Settings must be done properly once after Platinum installation. Manufacturer’s defaults will not work for wireless data communications such as AgNav Link, Weather, aircraft tracking, SOS and AgMission. More instructions can be found in Chapter 7. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.

Guia Platinum Main Menu. Use this manual to learn the functions in the Guia Platinum system. Note: The Navigate and Training modules have their own help for more details and instructions in navigation and application on an area.
The system will perform the closing procedure and turn off the power by itself. To avoid system file corruption, please wait until the system is off completely before switching the power supply or breaker off. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.

<Down>. To change the Control Menu, push straight down on the remote keys. Down functions are used to move the cursor up and down respectively. Use the Up and Down buttons on the remote keys when you can not reach the display. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.
To deselect it, just tap the item again. You can use the Right remote key to <Tag> the desired items when you can not reach the display. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.
Note that even though you select only .no1, .prj or .shp files, all files (grid lines, exclusion zones, spray data files, dbf, shx, etc…) associate with the selected areas and projects will be copied as well. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.
Note: Always make sure you have the data copied to your office computer before deleting an area. To delete areas, tag the items then tap <DelArea>. When the Confirmation dialog appears, select "Yes" to confirm or "No" to cancel the deletion. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.
Note that when using the delete functions, the deleted files are saved in the recycle basket until you choose to delete them permanently. If there are files being deleted by accident, you can go to the recycle basket to retrieve them. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.
To rename, highlight the desired file then tap <Rename>. You can rename one file at a time so you don’t have to tag it. A keyboard will be shown for you to enter a new filename. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.
Training. Note: Only the area file is duplicated. No spray data. To duplicate a file, highlight the file, then tap <Duplicate>. A keyboard is shown for you to enter a new filename. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.
The View function is used to view the content of the selected area (no1) or project (prj) file. To do this, highlight the desired file then tap <View>. The information in the file is shown. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.

You can tap <Show Polygon> to view the spray area and spray coverage if any. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.
Note: All files on the USB key will be erased. Make sure you do not have any files you want to keep on the USB key. To format a USB key, tap <Format>. When the Confirmation dialog appears, select "Yes" to continue or "No" to cancel the format process. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.
To back up files, tap <BackUp>. When the Confirmation dialog appears, select "Yes" to continue or "No" to cancel the backup process. Note that the BackUp function will not copy files in the recycle basket. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.
To clean the Platinum hard drive, tap <Clean>. When the Confirmation dialog appears, select “Yes” to continue or “No” to cancel the Clean process. Note that the Clean function also deletes all files in the recycle basket to make more space for the hard drive. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.
Use this function to go to the "missions" folder and view the jobs or missions. Note that the jobs in this folder are normally created by the AgMission webapp. To show the list of missions, tap <missions> then tap <ChgDir>. The list of jobs or missions is shown. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.

You can select a mission, for example <BARRIE_290> and tap <ChgDir> to view files in the mission. To go back one level, i.e. from files to mission folders, you can tap at the top of screen, or if missions are on the USB key. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.
File Manager will select all spray on data files (*spron.shp, *spron.shx, *spron.dbf), compress the files, then export the zip files to the USB key. The zip filename on the USB key will be the filename of the selected file + "_spron.zip". Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.
