<Down>. To change the Control Menu, push straight down on the remote keys. Down functions are used to move the cursor up and down respectively. Use the Up and Down buttons on the remote keys when you can not reach the display. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.

Note that even though you select only .no1, .prj or .shp files, all files (grid lines, exclusion zones, spray data files, dbf, shx, etc…) associate with the selected areas and projects will be copied as well. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.

Note: Always make sure you have the data copied to your office computer before deleting an area. To delete areas, tag the items then tap <DelArea>. When the Confirmation dialog appears, select "Yes" to confirm or "No" to cancel the deletion. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.

Note that when using the delete functions, the deleted files are saved in the recycle basket until you choose to delete them permanently. If there are files being deleted by accident, you can go to the recycle basket to retrieve them. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.

Page 29: Format
Note: All files on the USB key will be erased. Make sure you do not have any files you want to keep on the USB key. To format a USB key, tap <Format>. When the Confirmation dialog appears, select "Yes" to continue or "No" to cancel the format process. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.

To back up files, tap <BackUp>. When the Confirmation dialog appears, select "Yes" to continue or "No" to cancel the backup process. Note that the BackUp function will not copy files in the recycle basket. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.

To clean the Platinum hard drive, tap <Clean>. When the Confirmation dialog appears, select “Yes” to continue or “No” to cancel the Clean process. Note that the Clean function also deletes all files in the recycle basket to make more space for the hard drive. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.
Page 32: Change Directory
Use this function to go to the "missions" folder and view the jobs or missions. Note that the jobs in this folder are normally created by the AgMission webapp. To show the list of missions, tap <missions> then tap <ChgDir>. The list of jobs or missions is shown. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.
Page 33 You can select a mission, for example <BARRIE_290> and tap <ChgDir> to view files in the mission. To go back one level, i.e. from files to mission folders, you can tap at the top of screen, or if missions are on the USB key. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.

File Manager will select all spray on data files (*spron.shp, *spron.shx, *spron.dbf), compress the files, then export the zip files to the USB key. The zip filename on the USB key will be the filename of the selected file + "_spron.zip". Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.
Page 35 File Manager will connect with AgMission for missions upload and download. Use <ChgDir> to view the list of missions in the <missions> folder. Then select the mission you want to upload. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.

Page 50: Remote File Transfer
The Remote File Transfer item is used to transfer area and flight data files to office personnel or to another Guia Platinum system found in the same local network. The list of available contacts is displayed for you to select who to send the files to.
Page 51 Tap the file you want to send. o Tap <Select> to tag the file. A checkmark is tagged to the filename. o If you want to send more files, repeat the above steps to select other files. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.

<Receiver> bar is correct. As shown in the picture, the receiver type is AgNav-P500 or P550. Tap <Connect> to initiate the communication with the GPS receiver. If the connection is successful, data received from GPS receiver will be shown on screen. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.

This test is normally done by AG-NAV's staff for hardware test and troubleshooting. on the Tests menu to run Communications test. If there is data coming in to any comports, it will be shown on screen. Normally you see GPS data scrolling on COM 2 window.

If the selection is correct, the lightbar will show the same information as you see on the screen. Note that the 887-LBar is the small version of 889-LBar for mounting inside aircraft. If you have an 887-LBar, select “889 LBar” for the test. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.

Material: Shows the material used last time. Tap to change the name. You can enter a new material for calibration. To do this, o Touch and hold the Material bar for 2 seconds. The list of material names is shown. Platinum – Main Menu AG-NAV Inc.
