Operating the Charger Connecting the charger to a battery in a vehicle: Ensure the ignition and all of the accessories in the vehicle are switched off. This will maxi- mize the charge your battery receives. It will also minimize any chance of damage occurring to the vehicles on-board electronics.
Charging Stages Boost/Absorption Stage: After connecting and turning the mains power on, the unit will commence charging. This is indicated by the illuminated “Charging” LED. The battery charger delivers a Boost current up to 2.5 amps. When the battery is 80% charged, the charger will automatically switch to the “float stage”.
